Rain Rain, go away!

More rain - must be over 3 inches. Rain up and down the entire northeast.

I've been reading other blogs and have been really impressed with some of them. I'm going to add some pictures and make some other changes too. I did change the template and do like this one better.

We are in the process of selling our house... we think! We have an offer and are optomistic that this will go through. Then we move to the Lake full time. The "Big B" has been retired for several years and this is a new "thing" for me. Right now I seem to spend my time cleaning. I clean the house we are selling to make it look picture perfict. I then clean up all the stuff we bring here in boxes and crates. Heaven help us when we move everything. We have so much STUFF. I have been looking at TV programs on selling your house, curb appeal and such. That did give us some good ideas. De-junk is the best thing to do... which we did over the course of the past year, bringing up a load of stuff each time we came here. Will be glad when this is over.

Saturday

More rain. However, we do need it so I can't complain. The leaves are turning and the acorns falling and right now the rain is falling too, making everything dull and gloomy. The up side is it's a good day to put away summer things and get ready for winter, which is really just around the corner (I know, I sound like Little Mary Sunshine!)

Reflections

It's hard to believe that I've been retired for over a month. We have been splitting our time between here and Jersey....... but here is where our heart is! It's raining out and rather dismal. A car just went up the hill. We went to the mall today and stopped in to see Mary then over to the mall for some shopping. Got a chicken which made an easy dinner. It's hard to believe that it's Monday..... and we can do these things! That's what it's all about!

About Me

After working for 40 years in education, I retired and with my husband moved to the "wilds" of PA. This blog is thoughts and pictures of what we are doing.
