More cold weather! It was 18 this morning and went up a bit and is now dropping. The snow, that started as little hail like dots, has turned to flakes. The current temperature is 28 ant the weather people say we could get up to 5 inches but then change to rain.

This morning we went to Tractor Supply about 15 miles from here. B likes their "stuff" and I like their boots and clothes. We both like their dog toys. Today B got two things... A tire gage and a miniature soldering (and I thought it was soddering) gun. I got a "cowgirl shirt..pink no less! I have gotten two pairs of low boots there and checked them out but didn't get anything. Then we found several toys for Honey. Another "chuck it" a frisbee type toss it toy and 2 stuffed animals, one called 'the flea'. Honey loved them!! It's now 6 PM. Snow really heavy. Might have to do breakfast at home :(. And here is a Honey picture with her new Flea.

After a mild weekend and start of the week, it turned cloudy and cold. We had overcast skies Monday and colder temperatures by Wednesday. Snow flurries arrived Wednesday afternoon into this morning. There was enough snow that the windshield needed to be scraped this morning. We finally got above freezing this afternoon.

March Snow

We got more snow today. It started last night and this morning we had over 3 inches on the railing. Since it started while it was above freezing, yesterday we had nothing on the driveway or roads. However, overnight temperatures below freezing gave us covered cars and snowy roads. Since we had a morning appointment, B went out to clean the 4 wheel drive Volvo off using this nifty "sweeper" that cleans the car off very quickly. As he was working a herd of deer came out of the woods across our street and into the wooded area between our house and our neighbor. Honey, of course, went crazy and I took pictures from inside the house.

I guess about 8 deer came through. They were back this afternoon driving Honey crazy again.

Our trip into town was slow due to the snow but we had no problems. B drives well in the snow not going to fast. The trip home was much more enjoyable as most of the roads were clear of snow. Right now (3:45 PM) the sun is out, the driveway is clear and the snow is disappearing. Tomorrow the temperatures should be up into the 40s and Sunday, while cloudy, it should be even warmer. With the clocks moving ahead for daylight savings time, hopefully this is the last snow storm of the winter. We are ready for spring!
