SNOW, SNOW, SNOW

While I realize that the title is unimaginative, it's true... we got snow! It wasn't a surprise, the TV and news gave us warnings. The storm started out with snow, changed to ice then back to snow. The ice part was strange. If you can picture very small pieces of shattered safety glass, that's what the ice was like. It hit and bounced. It pressed down on the snow that had fallen. The outside temperature was in the teens yet this ice was falling. Very strange. The good thing was it wasn't coating the trees so we had limited wires down. We were out several times with the snow blower. B ran that while I swept the steps and worked on the car. We stayed home Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We were out to breakfast this morning and the roads were snow covered but not bad. We put the SUV into four wheel drive on our hill and the back road. I've posted more pictures in another posting as I'm having trouble with getting the pictures into this one.

About Me

After working for 40 years in education, I retired and with my husband moved to the "wilds" of PA. This blog is thoughts and pictures of what we are doing.
