It’s 4:48 and we are looking at TV and having a drink. The clock change on Sunday hasn’t sunk in… our expectation is to sit and have a drink as dinner is either cooking or ready to cook. Regardless of the time, we are ready… and so we sit.
We to left to vote this morning at 6:30. Earlier than usual. We were 8 and 9 and by the time the door opened at 7:00 there were at least 45 people behind us. We made up our minds as to who we were voting for a while ago. At this point we are so sick of the process. I hope to never again get an email telling me “stuff” about a candidate. It makes me dislike the side I don’t agree with even more! I am also, quite frankly, irate about the people who indiscriminately send me an email telling me what I know are lies about my candidate! I have stopped opening any email that sounds political regardless of which party it is about. While I hope you vote for my candidate (I can’t believe you would want anyone else) I’m not going to spread lies about the other candidate. Common courtesy says think before you send someone an email.
The TV is showing lines in Philly that are around the block. There were lines in NE PA also. I just hope that people get out to vote. Apathy appears to have stopped and for that I’m glad!!
MY NAME IS LAKELYNN AND I APPROVE OF THIS MESSAGE!
