The boat goes in

For what ever reason, we didn't get the boat in until this past week. The weather cooperated with clear skies and a calm lake. As always, B did his captain thing well. We get launched at the public dock and there were several boats there - one on the left of the ramp. As the boat pulled up (the people who store it also trailer it to the lake and all B does is hop on and back up to get it off the trailer) another boat on a trailer pulled around us (it was a smaller boat so it could do that) and backed down the ramp on the right. I was just observing over to the side with the iPhone to take pictures. (we are the pontoon boat) I wanted to smack this person who was so rude. I guess the driver of our trailer was irritated too as he just pulled up and put our boat down the middle. Down the boat went and B was in the lake before the other two boats were launched (ha, ha) and off he went.

Yesterday we did a brisket and some ribs in our new smoker. They were REALLY good. I took pictures and will post them shortly. We really enjoyed the day and sat outside most of the day. If you move around you can stay in the shade all day. There was a bit of a breeze blowing. I cleaned up a bunch of pots and potted up several plants which are now scattered around down on the deck. Really looks nice!
