Are These Birds Turkeys???

Yesterday I was home with Honey while B was out doing something. I looked out the kitchen window and saw what appeared to be a turkey jump over the wall off the back driveway and head down to the little stream at the side of the house. I had heard noises up on the roof right before this sighting and thought it might be ice falling...but perhaps it was these birds. I quickly grabbed my camera and took two pictures. From the back with their wings all folded up, I'm not sure what they are. I think turkey...do you know??? Then when B was walking Honey today he noticed three toed prints in the snow leading to the back...and the picture shows birds with three toes. So, anyone able to help???
